Editorial Standards
Effective date: May 28, 2026 · Covoree (covoree.com)
Covoree Discover publishes original reviews, analysis, and guides. These standards apply to all articles on Discover and inform how we present content to readers and advertising partners.
Original writing
- Articles are written or substantially edited by named contributors with visible author bylines.
- We do not publish scraped synopses, auto-generated text, or bulk republished material without clear original analysis.
- Movie and music reviews include our verdict, context, and recommendations — not only plot summaries.
Length and depth
Reviews and features target at least 800 words of editorial body content before publication. Shorter posts are expanded or merged into broader guides. Reading time is displayed on each article.
Corrections and updates
Factual errors are corrected promptly. Material updates (e.g. revised scores after wide release) are noted in the article when significant.
Community reviews
Registered users may submit ratings and short reviews on movie articles. Community content is moderated; spam and off-topic posts are removed. Community scores are labeled separately from critic/editorial scores.
Advertising separation
Display advertising (Google AdSense on the web, Google AdMob in the app) appears only on editorial article pages with sufficient original content, after user consent where required. Catalog and utility pages (Cinema browse, download tools, embed shells) are not monetized with AdSense.
Cinema catalog disclaimer
Cinema listings aggregate metadata and playback links from third-party indexes for discovery. They are not standalone editorial products. For written coverage, see our movie reviews.
