Refund Policy
Effective date: May 28, 2026 · Covoree (covoree.com)
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes work for Covoree ("we," "us," or "our") when you purchase a subscription, license, or other paid feature through our website, desktop app, mobile apps, or browser extension (collectively, the "Service").
This policy supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide greater rights, those laws apply.
1. Who processes payments
Paid plans on covoree.com are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Your receipt and payment method are handled by Paddle according to their terms. Purchases made through Google Play on Android follow Google Play billing and refund rules.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a paid Covoree plan, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or subscription start date, provided that:
- This is your first paid purchase of that plan (or first subscription to that billing period)
- You have not previously received a refund for the same account or license
- You contact us within the 14-day window with your Paddle transaction ID or receipt email
After a refund is approved, your license or subscription access will be revoked and Pro features will no longer be available on linked devices.
3. Subscriptions
3.1 Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Cancel through:
- The link in your Paddle receipt email, or Paddle's customer portal if available for your purchase
- Email support@covoree.com from the address used at checkout with your transaction ID
3.2 Refunds after the guarantee period
Subscription charges outside the 14-day money-back window are generally non-refundable, including partial months or unused time remaining in a billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds except where required by law or at our sole discretion in exceptional cases (e.g. duplicate charges or verified technical failure preventing use of paid features).
3.3 Price changes and renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date. You are responsible for cancelling before renewal if you do not wish to be charged again.
4. One-time licenses and upgrades
If you purchase a one-time license or lifetime access (where offered), the same 14-day money-back guarantee applies from the purchase date. After 14 days, one-time purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
5. Google Play purchases
If you subscribe or buy in-app through Google Play on Android, billing and refunds are managed by Google. Request refunds through Google Play's refund process. We cannot override Google Play refund decisions. For account or license issues after a Google refund, contact support@covoree.com.
6. Free tier and advertising
The free ad-supported tier does not involve payment and is not eligible for refunds. Free downloads start immediately with a short background ad while your file saves; you may upgrade to a paid Pro plan for ad-free access instead.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at support@covoree.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in suspension of your license and account while the dispute is investigated.
8. How to request a refund
Email support@covoree.com with:
- The email address used at checkout
- Your Paddle transaction ID (from your receipt), or Google Play order ID if applicable
- Date of purchase and plan purchased (monthly, yearly, or other)
- Brief reason for the request (optional but helpful)
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle (or Google Play for Play purchases) and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
9. EU and UK consumers
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase for digital services, unless you expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose the withdrawal right once performance begins. By activating your license and using Pro features immediately after purchase, you may be deemed to have requested immediate performance. Contact us if you believe statutory rights apply to your situation.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated by email or notice on our website where appropriate. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction unless law requires otherwise.
