Terms of Service

Effective date: May 28, 2026 · Covoree (covoree.com)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Covoree, including our website (covoree.com), desktop application, mobile applications, browser extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Service only with parental or guardian consent.

3. Description of the Service

Covoree helps users download, convert, organize, and play media on their own devices from sources they choose. Features may include catalog browsing, metadata resolution, offline playback, license management, and optional advertising on free tiers.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Some features require a paid subscription or license.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

5. Copyright and third-party content

Covoree is a tool. We do not host or provide copyrighted content for download. You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and for ensuring your downloads comply with the laws and terms applicable to each source.

We respond to valid copyright notices and may suspend accounts or features that are used to infringe intellectual property rights. Report concerns to support@covoree.com.

6. Accounts and licenses

Certain features require an account or license key. You are responsible for activity under your account. Licenses are personal or as described at purchase and may not be resold or shared except where explicitly permitted.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose security or abuse risks.

7. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Paid plans are billed as described at checkout. Payments are processed by Paddle on our website and by Google Play for applicable in-app purchases. Subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds are described in our Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

8. Free tier and advertising

Free access may include advertisements (Google AdSense on the web, Google AdMob on mobile where enabled). Ad availability may change by platform and region. Premium or licensed users may receive an ad-free experience as described in their plan.

9. Third-party services and links

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party sites, APIs, and platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, including how to request account deletion.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR DOWNLOAD OR SOURCE WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE.

Media availability depends on third-party platforms and your network; we do not guarantee that every URL or title can be resolved or downloaded.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COVOREE AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Covoree and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Covoree, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts or forums specified by applicable law, unless you have mandatory consumer protection rights in your country that cannot be waived.
